Our Story

The Cabin Creek Bait Company was establised in 1984. The business originated in central KY and quickly became a staple in the sourrounding area. Cabin Creek became famous for their Critter Gitter hand dipped tubes, Salty Spider Parts, Oval Sinkin' Worms, and Express Craws. The lures were developed on fisheries like Laurel Lake, Lake Cumberland, and Dale Hollow Lake and excel at catching smallmouth bass. Northern fisheries quickly caught on and the Cabin Creek brand spread across the US.

Cabin Creek was known for the quality of their soft plastics. Soft, supple, salted, scented, and just flat out get bit!

In 2025, the company was purchased by Will, Jack Henry, and John-Scott Carnes of 3 Brothers Baits. Their aim is to re-establish Cabin Creek back to its roots in location and in quality of service and product.  They have sourced the original plastic, colors, scent, tube mandrels, and molds. Manufacturing will be done at their facility in Stanford KY.
